Irkutsk´s first mini hotel. The Gloria is in the center of Irkutsk and of the 4 star category. The interior is tastefully done with both classical and modern elements. The hotel is quite comfortable and a good choice for both tourists and business people. There is a small restaurant in the hotel but mostly the place consists of rooms for guests without much else. Used extensively by both business and leisure travelers to Irkutsk, particularly those stopping over on the Trans-Siberian railway, the hotel is directly opposite the station on the other bank of the river. It is also within walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars, and museums. in the city center of Irkutsk. It has 120 rooms with all comforts. The hotel features two Russian restaurants and cafeterias/bars. Services include a travel shop, Russian sauna facility, gift shops and hair dresser.Used extensively by both business and leisure travelers to Irkutsk, particularly those stopping over on the Trans-Siberian railway, the hotel is directly opposite the station on the other bank of the river. The Irkutsk is a huge hotel complex located in the center of Irkutsk right on the Angara river embankment, so about half the rooms have really excellent views. The hotel is a decent 3-star one, and is constantly being upgraded. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The hotel is a good base for exploring the city and have a decent Korean restaurant, bar and the casino. They also have decent transportation services and a travel desk where you can purchase air and rail tickets. The Irkutsk hotel offers 17 double rooms, 54 single rooms, 147 twin rooms. There are also 27 deluxe rooms and Presidential deluxe apartments. Try to get a room facing the river when you check in. The hotel is located on Kirov Square in the center of Irkutsk. It is an old Soviet style hotel that has seen better days, however, there are a number of decent, Western renovated rooms on the 5, 6 and 7th floors. It is one of the largest hotels in Irkutsk with 220 rooms and 475 sleeping places. Angara has both renovated and decorated rooms. The unrenovated ones of course are much cheaper than the renovated ones but they are much less comfortable and extremely Soviet in nature. On the renovated 5, 6, and 7th floors there are 77 renovated single rooms, 74 renovated double rooms and deluxe rooms. The rooms on the 5th and 6th floors have air conditioning while the 7th floor does not. The 2nd and 4th floors have unrenovated rooms. The 2nd, 4th and 7th floor rooms have breakfast included in their price - the 5th and 6th floor rooms do not.
